Friends groups already know how to raise money — book sales, raffles, ticketed events, and the community that shows up for all of it. This talk is about building on that: practical ways to grow revenue, build more engaged Friends groups, and sidestep a few common pitfalls before they become problems.

Robyn Kollar brings 25 years of fundraising and marketing experience, including leading annual giving and membership at the University of Missouri and serving as Director of Annual Giving for a national women’s empowerment organization. She currently serves as Fundraising and Public Relations Consultant for the Northeast Kansas Library System, where this year she grew Library Giving Day fundraising by 214% across the region’s 48 public libraries.
