Coming soon — the Kansas Library Association conference!  Read the current issue of FoKL Point and you’ll know why you should register now!

Don’t miss the 4:20 p.m. session on Wednesday at KLA.  The Library Leadership Group’s message of community spirit will inspire you.  This group of teens formed five years ago and is more active than ever, supporting their community and their library. Hamilton County Librarian, Amy Brucker will share what this group has taught her about mentoring a teenage Friends group.  And, you can meet some of these outstanding, energetic, civic-minded teens!

This issue of the Friends of Kansas Libraries newsletter has the latest news about FoKL and KLTA events.  Visit the KLA website to register as a Friends member or Trustee and follow the directions for the special one-day rate. We will look for you at the conference October 25-27 in Wichita!
