Read about plans for the Friends and Trustees events at KLA/MLA conference. The featured speaker at the Friends/Trustees luncheon September 30 will be Gayle Harper, Missouri writer and travel photographer.  Mark your calendar to attend this joint conference with the Missouri Library Association September 30 through October 2 at Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

The featured speaker at the Friends/Trustees luncheon at KLA was Linda Regan of the Children’s Advocacy Center in Springfield, Missouri.  Response to her address was enthusiastic!  Read Linda’s message describing how to recruit and develop the best board for your organization or library.
